Work Overview:

Nims came to us as a referral from someone in our network as a client who was looking to develop a athleisure collection with the intent of capitalising on his pre-existing audience. Spotting a gap in the market for a premium, sustainable sportswear line, he wanted to put a heavy focus on fabric sourcing and testing to ensure his products stood the test of time.

Objectives:

  1. Focus heavily on fabric testing and sourcing to ensure materials competed with industry leaders.
  2. Develop a line of sportswear which embodied minimalism and high quality.
  3. Conduct research to find popular styles, colours, branding applications and develop a diverse and on-trend collection.

Scope of Work:

Based on the objectives and priorities, we curated and worked to the following scope of work:

  • Focus on fabric testing and sourcing to ensure materials meet or surpass industry standards.
  • Develop a sportswear line that reflects a minimalist aesthetic while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Conduct research to identify popular styles, colors, and branding applications for a diverse and on-trend collection.
  • Identify industry leaders and benchmark fabric quality standards.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to source high-quality materials.
  • Implement rigorous fabric testing procedures to ensure durability, comfort, and performance.
  • Engage designers to create a sportswear line emphasizing minimalism and quality.
  • Establish design principles that align with the brand's vision and industry trends.
  • Integrate feedback loops for continuous improvement during the design process.
  • Conduct market research to identify popular sportswear styles and colour preferences.
  • Analyze branding applications in the industry to inform the design process.
  • Develop a diverse and on-trend collection based on research findings.

This project was a success and we're working on more lines with Nims as we speak.
